Counsel (Finance) 
Are you interested in applying your strong financial services legal background as well as your problem solving and collaboration skills to advance economic development in Massachusetts? MassDevelopment is looking for a mission-driven attorney with at least five years of relevant legal experience to join its team-oriented and collaborative legal department. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert providing practical and sound legal counsel to colleagues across various business units, with a focus on finance-related transactions. You’ll conduct legal research, help ensure compliance with statutory authority, Board-adopted policies, and applicable laws, and play a key part in driving financial deals to closure. We’re looking for proactive, adaptable individuals who cultivate a growth mindset, e.g., are excited to learn new areas of law and policy and are eager to boost economic development in Massachusetts. MassDevelopment is seeking a mission-driven attorney with a minimum of five years of legal experience to join its collaborative in-house counsel team. You will provide timely, top notch, and practical legal advice to stakeholders across the organization with a particular focus on real estate transactions. We’re looking for proactive, adaptable individuals who cultivate a growth mindset, e.g., are excited to learn new areas of law and policy and are eager to contribute to advancing economic development in Massachusetts.
