Description

The site at Industrial Road is a 34-acre site within the master-planned Carriage Grove neighborhood, of which 15 acres of the site are developable. The designated zoning of the site is the Business Neighborhood Center District, which allows for a variety of uses including residential, commercial, and industrial. Interested developers may propose to purchase and develop a portion or the entirety of the site. 

Carriage Grove is a new neighborhood in Belchertown with mountain views, master-planned for more than half a million square feet of mixed-use commercial, industrial, and residential development. The Carriage Grove master plan designates the site for commercial and/or light industrial development. MassDevelopment and the Belchertown Economic Development and Industrial Corporation (BEDIC) will work with prospective developers to determine the most suitable use for a given lot.

Industrial Road itself is a newly constructed road and infrastructure to support light industrial and commercial development at the site. Water, sewer, electricity and internet services are stubbed to the site.
