Eisengrein Community Center Roof Replacement Project ( Project No. 25-011)
The Massachusetts Development Finance Agency (“MassDevelopment” or “Owner”), a Massachusetts body politic and corporate established and existing under Chapter 23G of the Massachusetts General Laws, having its principal place of business at 99 High Street, 11th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02110, invites sealed bids from general contractors for the Eisengrein Community Center Roof Replacement Project – Project No. 25-011 in Devens, Massachusetts.
Bidders must be DCAMM certified in the category: ROOFING. Work includes the demolition and replacement of the existing asphalt composition roof and appurtenant work at the Bob Eisengrein Community Center, 100 Sherman Ave, Devens, MA.
Contract documents will be available electronically at 12 p.m. on 5/21/2025 by contacting Christine Brown: cbrown@massdevelopment.com. A pre-bid conference will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the project site: 100 Sherman Ave, Devens, MA 01434. A tour of the project site will be offered following the pre-bid conference. Bids are due at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the MassDevelopment offices, Suite 207, 33 Andrews Parkway, Devens, MA 01434, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. MassDevelopment reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Award of the contract for the work contemplated by the IBF may be subject to the approval of MassDevelopment Board of Directors.

New Bedford Whaling Museum
New Bedford State Pier (NBSP), New Bedford MA
In 2023, the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency solicited proposals from interested users of the New Bedford State Pier to identify future uses and redevelopment options for the property. Seven proposals were received in February 2024 in relation to this solicitation and each proposer has been invited to a present their ideas within the context of a public meeting. This event will be held at the New Bedford Whaling Museum Auditorium (18 Johnny Cake Hill, New Bedford, MA 02740) on Monday May 13, 2024, at 6 p.m. (EST). The agenda for the evening will consist of MassDevelopment’s brief introduction to the subject, then 5-10 minute presentations from each proposer, followed by a public comment period. The event will close at 8 p.m.
The NBSP is owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The Agency currently manages the NBSP through an agreement with DCR. MassDevelopment is interested in development ideas/concepts for the NBSP that will advance the Agency’s objective to maximize use of this asset, and create a local and regional benefit, provide support to maritime industries, advance economic development, and foster asset utilization that will support a diverse and significant workforce.
Capital Providers for the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Massachusetts Program
MassDevelopment is soliciting information from multiple firms to serve as capital providers for the Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Program. Firms will comprise a list of potential funding sources for property owners who wish to participate in PACE Massachusetts.
