$11M Expands & Upgrades Applewild Campus
Applewild School, an independent day and boarding school with campuses in Fitchburg and Devens, is using an $11 million tax-exempt bond from MassDevelopment to build a new dormitory and complete various improvements on the school’s Fitchburg campus. The new two-story, approximately 17,000-square-foot dormitory will address demand for additional boarding space at the school, featuring 20 bedrooms that can house up to 40 students as well as six faculty apartments. Enterprise Bank purchased the bond, which helped Applewild achieve a lower cost of capital.
