SSBCI Loan Finances Medford Beer Hall

The Great American Beer Hall, a 19,000-square-foot tap room with an outdoor space and nearly 100 brews on tap in Medford, was able to take advantage of a $1.75 million State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) loan provided by MassDevelopment. The loan was matched by Stoneham Bank resulting in substantial funding to help the new business transform a former automotive repair facility into an active food and beverage space for the greater community to enjoy. MassDevelopment’s allocation of SSBCI funding from the U.S. Department of the Treasury has allowed the agency to boost access to capital for small businesses.
